Upon the retirement of Econ Illinois Executive Director Joanne Dempsey on June 30th, Lori Berkes-Nelson becomes the new Executive Director.

Guest speaker Tom Ricketts, Chicago Cubs, highlighted the 2012 American Dream Dinner. The theme for the evening, The Art of Dollars and Sense, showcased Econ Illinois programs combining art and economics.
