Application Process
3M Awards will be given at the Econ Illinois Economic Education Day Luncheon in October of each year. Winners will be selected based on their long-standing history of involvement in the field of economic education and on their excellence in teaching economics. Nominations/entries for the 3M Awards are accepted throughout each academic year. Nominations may be made by a supervisor/ administrator, a colleague, a local Center or Office for Economic Education, the Econ Illinois staff, or by the nominee (self-nomination).
In order to be considered for the 2009-2010 academic year, nominations and entries are due no later than July 15, 2010.
