1904 entries were submitted from 56 different schools for the 6 regional contests. 89 teachers participated in total. At the conclusion of regional judging, each regional competition submitted their top 24 entries for judging at the state level. From these 144 entries, 12 Winners were selected, along with 21 High Honorable Mention entries and 22 Honorable Mention entries.
The twelve state winners' drawings were depicted in a 2005 calendar through the generosity of State Farm Insurance.
