How to enter your regional contest
All Illinois schools are serviced by a Center for Economic Education and are eligible for participation in one of the regional contests. Regional winners advance to the state judging in March.
In the list below, download the flyer for your school by identifying your county or district in the list. Your regional flyer will provide complete information on deadlines, and an entry form. Regional entry deadlines vary, from December through February.
To assure your entries are judged, submit them to the correct regional contest for your school.
Important: DuPage County Districts 203 and 204 compete in the NIU regional contest only. All remaining schools in DuPage county compete in the Dominican University regional contest.
- LOCATION: City of Chicago address, zipcode 606xx.
University of Illinois at Chicago Center for Economic Education. Current flyer - LOCATION: West and north Cook county, all of Lake county. Also, DuPage county with the exception of Indian Prairie District 204 and Naperville District 203. DuPage County Districts 203 and 204 compete in the NIU regional contest.
Dominican University Center for Economic Education. Current Flyer - LOCATION: South Cook County, Will, Grundy, Kendall, Livingston and Kankakee Counties.
Governors State University Office of Economic Education. Current flyer - LOCATION: North of Interstate 80 with the exception of DuPage, Cook, Kendall, Lake and Rock Island counties. An exception to the county list is that DuPage County Districts 203 and 204 compete in the NIU regional contest.
Northern Illinois University Center for Economic Education. Current flyer - LOCATION: Bureau, Champaign, Christian, DeWitt, Douglas, Ford, Henry, Iroquois, Knox, LaSalle, Logan, Macon, Marshall, Mason, Menard, McLean, Moultrie, Peoria, Piatt, Putnam, Sangamon, Stark, Tazewell, Vermillion, and Woodford counties.
Bradley University Center for Economic Education. Current flyer - LOCATION: Adams, Brown, Cass, Fulton, Hancock, Henderson, Mercer, McDonough, Morgan, Pike, Rock Island, Schuyler, Scott and Warren counties.
