Illinois Personal Finance Challenge
Awards
New for 2012:
Students of the Illinois Personal Finance Challenge first place and second place teams at the state finals will be offered a $1,000 scholarship. To be eligible, students must be accepted to attend Northern Illinois University and enroll in the College of Business. The one-time award will be awarded to each qualifying student winner in Illinois Personal Finance Challenge.
The offer of scholarships also applies to student winners in Illinois Econ Challenge 2012.
Members of the first-place team at the state competition and their teacher-sponsor each receive prizes valued at $400, medals, and a trophy for the school. Members of the second-place team and their teacher each receive prizes valued at $200, medals, and a trophy for the school. Every participant in the state finals receives a T-shirt and a certificate of participation. Each participating school in the state finals receives a framed and matted certificate noting their participation in the finals.
All schools in the state who participate in the preliminary (online) round receive a certificate of recognition.
Members of the National Championship team and their teacher-sponsor receive awards.
