Winning Teachers should download the necessary forms below:

  • Winning Team List - All teachers having a winning team must submit a Winning Team List for each team that will be recognized with awards. The forms are due back to Econ Illinois by a given date so awards can be prepared and distributed on time.
  • Consent Form and Release for teachers whose students have been invited to an awards reception coordinated by Econ Illinois. Students attending any awards reception coordinated by Econ Illinois must give their teacher a Consent Form and Release that has been signed by their parent/guardian prior to the reception. Teachers bring the completed forms with them to the reception and submit them at the check-in desk.
  • Dress Code - Teachers whose students have been invited to an awards reception coordinated by Econ Illinois must share this information with their students. Proper attire is requested.
  • PowerPoint presentation Guidelines - Teachers whose teams are invited to an awards reception hosted by Econ Illinois are asked to present a PowerPoint presentation at an awards reception, and should read these guidelines so students' presentations meet basic expectations. This presentation will be required of only the First Place teams - due to time allowance.
  • Press Release Templates - Edit the appropriate template with your school's information and submit to your local print media.

Teachers wishing to provide classroom recognition to students who do not receive regional or division awards can download the editable certificate below.

  • Participation Certificate for teachers' use - any teacher can individualize certificates for students who do not win awards posted on the SMG Winners page.

National winners will be notified as soon as the placing has been determined. Teachers contacted as having a winning student should promptly return the completed forms below - one form for the teacher and one form for the student. The student form requires parent/guardian signature. Return the forms to the Fax number provided on the forms.
