Statewide, around 14,500 students participated during Fall 2009. The online portfolio simulation for student teams extended from September 21 - December 11 for schools in the City of Chicago; September 8 - December 11 for schools elsewhere. A Late Fall open session ran October 5 - December 11.
In addition to the Fall sessions, students whose teachers enrolled them in the Year-Long session which started September 8 will continue to manage their portfolios through April 23, 2010. Students enrolled in the Mid-Year Session running November 2 - February 12 will also continue to manage their simulated portfolios.
In any session, students begin portfolio management when it best fits the teacher's schedule, within the timeframe of their session.
